Installation of Orient Expression Woven Wood Shades by DSC Window Fashions

Last month we had a great opportunity to create a lesson on how to install Orient Expression Woven Woods made by DSC Window Fashion out of Arvada, Colorado. Corky Smith and the client allowed us to film on location.

Pre-Drilling holes for mountingIt was a fun video shoot , moving around Corky as he worked. Using a new filming technique, we were able to get the camera in places that are tight.











Placing thumb screw in place

Corky did a fantastic job explaining all the steps
involved, including measuring where to place the bracket, tips for how to get the shade to hang straight , secrets for hanging extra wide shades, and child safety issues with the cords.








Finishing up installation

With a great installer and a top notch product, the customer was very pleased after the installation.
