Shower Curtain with Button Holes (D-061)

A client I was working for went on vacation and stayed at a hotel that had a curved shower rod. She discovered how much more room she had to wash her hair. When she got back into town she had a curved shower rod installed in her guest bath. In our style code collection we have named this style D-061 Shower Curtain with Button Holes. Adding a decorative shower curtain to a plastic liner on a tub can give the bath room that special touch.

As shown here, the button hole is simple and clean looking versus using grommets.

When specifying your first button hole make sure to give enough offset from the leading edge of the drapery so that the drapery will hide the plastic liner from the front. As in this case the plastic liner garment was set in approximately 1.25" from the leading edge of the fabric curtain. On the fabric shower curtain specify a 2" inset of the first button hole on the leading edge. This will assure the leading edge of the shower curtain will go past the plastic liner.
There are a few important details I would like to point out. The rod is curved and it needed to be placed so that the plastic liner would still fit inside of the tub. This caused the finished length of the drapery to alter on the far left and right sides, as well in the center.
