Mary J. Warneke joins PDE's Affiliated lesson program to create a "How to Make an Arch Pleated Drapery Panel". The lesson is available both in a print version and in our quick on-line mini lesson area.
This lesson was a joint effort between PDE and Mary Warneke. Included are over 25 color photos and illustrations showing the steps involved in completing an arch drapery panel. The printed version of the lesson is on digital paper and measures 8.5" x 11". It is designed to be 3–hole punched to allow you to safely store all your printed lessons in a 3 ring notebook. The photos were taken inside a professional drapery workroom environment and follows the steps of this actual job through to installation.

Once you understand the basics of how this comes together you will feel comfortable doing these types of draperies. The biggest challenge you face when making arch pleated draperies is creating the pattern. In the lesson we show you how to create the pattern from a template of a window you have or we show you how to make the arch drapery if you choose to use Precision Draperies Education’s full scale pattern service. click here to read the full story or click here to read Mary’s bio.
