After installing one of these rods, I discovered a few tips you should be aware of:

Master carrier1.) For one-way draw draperies (curtains), they bolt together the 2 master carries, which makes them approximately 8", vs. the normal 3.5".

Soft top DraperyThis will be a problem for soft-top draperies (curtains) without buckram (crinoline), as the V-droop of the drapery causes the master to be exposed, as in the picture. To avoid this issue, use buckram (crinoline) along the top edge of your drapery.

Rod Clip2.) The fascia mounts to the rod using clips that mount to the fascia, and slide over the rod.

This is an issue for ceiling-mounted rods, which require the fascia to be installed using double-face tape, versus the clips.

Make sure to specify “ceiling-mount” when placing the order, to receive the double-face tape.

3.) Wide rod widths, pair or panel, require you to pump the drapery cord several times to open and close the draperies.

drapery hook settings4.) The Hook/Pin setting for these rods are:
Ringless:  1/2” from top of hook to the top of the drapery

With Rings:  3/8” from top of hook to the top of drapery

Drapry Pin ShowingIMPORTANT TIP:  Be careful on drapery styles that are flat, with NO pleats along the top of the drapery (hooks or pins placed on a flat drapery).  Heavy weight can cause the hooks/pins to be exposed along the top of the drapery, causing the master and slides to be exposed.
